Question 1

Is MYDEALERSHIPVIEW suitable for a small, independent dealership, or only larger operations?

Accepted Answer

It's built to scale with you. Independent dealers get the same VAT, compliance, and operational tools as larger operations, without needing an in-house team to manage separate systems and providers. Our goal has always been to bring the latest tools to our clients regardless of their size - providing you the support and training you need to grow and flourish

Question 2

Do you have an APP?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have Apps published on both major app stores. These can be downloaded using the following links: iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mydealershipview/id6767639917 Android (APK): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mydealershipview.app

Question 3

How much does it cost for vehicles to appear on the MYDEALERSHIPVIEW public listings page?

Accepted Answer

This service is free to our partner dealerships regardless of stock volume. We do not take any listings fee, commissions or any other hidden fee. Dealerships who are not partnering with us can contact us for pricing.

Question 4

Can we manage advertising across multiple platforms from one place?

Accepted Answer

Yes — stock and listing data stay consistent across your own website and third-party marketplaces like AutoTrader, rather than requiring manual re-entry on each platform every time a detail changes. You can select channels when uploading and adding stock and manage listings channels via the Listings' tab on your MyStock page

Question 5

Does the system support digital test drives?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Licence capture, customer verification, vehicle selection, and a secure audit trail are all handled digitally, replacing the paper-log-and-photocopy process most dealerships still rely on

Question 6

Does MYDEALERSHIPVIEW handle VAT Margin Scheme calculations?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is built into the platform, removing one of the most common sources of costly record-keeping errors for used car dealers. When you enter a car into stock, you will be able to add its purchase information, any costs incurred as well as the sale details which are automatically converted into the VAT and Margins data you require. We also have a blog on this subject which you may find useful

Question 7

Can multiple staff members use the system at once, and will everyone see consistent information?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that consistency is a core part of the platform's design. Every user works from the same stock, customer, and documentation records, so the customer journey doesn't change depending on who's on shift. We also have role based access, giving you the ability to control what other team members can or cannot access

Question 8

What kind of reporting do we get?

Accepted Answer

Reporting covers true vehicle-level profitability, not just gross margin: factoring in preparation, advertising, warranty, and other costs — alongside stock, enquiry, and operational reporting. You can also set reminders to get a report for vehicles with missing or no purchase, costs or sales data. We empower you to create the reporting structure that suits your needs

Question 9

Do you provide compliance support, or just software?

Accepted Answer

Both. Alongside the platform, we offer bespoke terms and conditions, compliance reviews, complaint management support, and operational consultancy specific to the motor trade — not just a support ticket system.

Question 10

What if we need help with something that isn't strictly "software"?

Accepted Answer

That's the point of the partnership model — operational guidance, complaint handling advice, and process reviews are part of what we offer, not outside its scope.

Question 11

Can we see how it's worked for dealerships similar to us?

Accepted Answer

Yes — read our customer testimonials to hear directly from dealers about their experience, including several who've switched from long-standing providers.
